Rescue Diver

Divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, although it is the most rewarding course of all they have ever done. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become a more confident diver with your skills, knowing that you can help others if they need it. During the course, you learn to become a better partner by practicing problem solving techniques until it becomes your second nature. In addition, the course is fun - but serious, although it still allows a lot of laughs focused on learning.

PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years of age and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive, can enroll in the Rescue Diver course. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the last 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course. Your instructor can also offer you the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider diving specialty course at the same time.
